London – Corinthia London is delighted to debut 26 newly refurbished suites, comprising 12 Deluxe Junior Suites, six Trafalgar Suites, four Whitehall Suites, and the creation of four brand-new Garden Suites. The hotel worked once again with G.A Group design studio to meticulously renovate its accommodations, with a refreshed aesthetic attuned to the sensibilities of today’s discerning traveller.
The redesign of these guestrooms marks a significant evolution in Corinthia London’s identity within the competitive landscape of urban luxury hotels. Each space has been thoughtfully reimagined to accentuate individuality and character, while preserving the hotel’s sense of warmth that defines its ‘home away from home’ experience. With a commitment to sustainability, existing furnishings were reconditioned and reupholstered using traditional British craftsmanship, minimising environmental impact. The suites now feature a curated selection of bespoke furnishings and artwork sourced from local artisans, creating a refined atmosphere that speaks to the modern traveller’s desire for both comfort and sophistication.
Trafalgar Suites: Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of London’s parks, the Trafalgar Suites’ updated palette of lush greens and gold accents harmonize beautifully with their abundant natural light. Soft linen wall panels, Calacatta Viola stone, lost-wax cast bronze table lamps, and a covetable green couch are among the British artisanal details that give the suite its rich, distinct character. These elegant spaces highlight the hotel’s historic architecture, featuring soft curves that flow with the shape of the building, and a spacious layout with views of Trafalgar Square.
Whitehall Suites: The reimagined Whitehall Suites captivate with their bold golden and deep red hues, perfectly tailored to their generous dimensions. This suite type has been designed to evoke a contemporary yet homely atmosphere, with accents of British heritage. Artisanal brass lighting from British manufacturer, Hector Finch and reconditioned hand-finish timber flooring highlight the expert craftsmanship, creating a generous and refined sanctuary.
Deluxe Junior Suites: Embracing contemporary living and working styles, these suites feature dedicated living areas with versatile dining spaces replacing traditional desks. A peaceful colour palette of greys, rust tones, and blues creates a soothing, yet sophisticated environment, complemented by bespoke rugs and furnishings upholstered in British fabrics. Linen-wrapped wall panels add a touch of softness, while grand headboards with integrated reading lights, sculpted lighting, and chic stone nightstands strike the perfect balance of elegance and ease. Reconditioned, hand-finished timber flooring reinforces a sense of warmth throughout.
Garden Suites: With this suite type much beloved, four new Garden Suites were designed with a nod to the quintessential British garden in mind and overlook Corinthia London’s landscaped courtyard. Their light, fresh aesthetic is the ideal pied-à-terre when visiting the city. A green and neutral botanical colour scheme and textures run throughout the suites, with complementary soft furnishings, and a feature fireplace in the main living area. Garden Suites evoke a stylish residential style, with an organic style of art chosen to represent the classic British garden. This theme flows through to the carpets which feature London tree leaves, carved into the design as if fallen from the trees that line the streets outside. These lush suites feature bespoke brass wall lights, butter-soft leathers, and beautifully crafted woods.
Thomas Kochs, Managing Director of Corinthia London, comments: “I am delighted to debut our new and enhanced suites. Our continued investment in renovation – and innovation – at Corinthia London demonstrates our commitment to sustaining high luxury in such a competitive marketplace, to ensure our guests experience something new and exciting with every stay. The Garden Suites have been one of our most popular accommodation types, so it was only natural we decided to build on this collection. We feel the refreshed aesthetic of these new suites really captures our lighter, brighter style.”
Jessica Morrison, Senior Associate, G.A Group adds: “Our design embraces a relaxed, residential feel – creating a home-away-from-home that guests associate with Corinthia London and return to, time and again. Each suite celebrates the hotel’s specific locale. For the Trafalgar Suite, we carefully selected organic-form pieces to harmonise with the distinctive architecture in this corner of the building. This suite is a celebration of artistry, featuring carefully curated works that showcase the talent of British artists and makers.”
